Cervicogenic Headache and Dizziness Course

The ‘Cervicogenic Headache and Dizziness’ course is designed to assist clinicians with the comprehensive assessment and management of patients with cervicogenic headache and/or dizziness concerns. Teaching emphasis will be shared evenly between both headache and dizziness with a focus on differential diagnosis and clinical reasoning highlighting the latest in research evidence. There will be particular emphasis on high-quality assessment and treatment of the sub-occipital spine utilising both manual therapy and exercise domains.

Upper Quadrant Course

The 'Upper quadrant level-1' course is designed to assist clinicians in managing patients with upper quadrant pain/dysfunction.  Teaching emphasis will be shared between the cervical spine, thoracic spine and shoulder girdle. This course places emphasis on high-quality manual therapy assessment and treatment, combined with clinical reasoning and the latest research evidence. Red  and yellow flags in upper quadrant pain will also be comprehensively covered.  Pain neurophysiology will be emphasised throughout the 2-day course.

The Complete Thoracic Spine Course

 

Often described as the “Cinderella” region of the spine, this two day practically focussed course will assist the clinician in understanding the role the thoracic spine may play in spinal pain and upper and lower quadrant dysfunction. This course will have a strong focus on manual assessment and treatment approaches readily applicable to the clinical space. Theoretical material will cover anatomy and biomechanics of the thoracic spine, the role of the thoracic spine in load transfer, and neurophysiological considerations. This course will offer best current evidence within a biopsychosocial framework.

Lower Quadrant Course

The 'Lower quadrant level-1' course is suitable for all clinicians aspiring towards high-level clinical reasoning when approaching a patient with lower quadrant pain/dysfunction. Focus will be on the lumbar spine, thoracic spine, posterior pelvic girdle and hip in the differential diagnosis and management of this often challenging patient cohort.  Pain neuroscience  and the different pain states will also be covered. 

This course places emphasis on high-quality manual assessment and treatment, combined with clinical reasoning and the latest research evidence.
